Cal Foote is an American-born Canadian defenceman drafted 14th overall by Tampa Bay in 2017. He won the Stanley Cup with the Lightning in 2021 and currently plays for the Chicago Wolves of the AHL.

Early life and junior hockey

Born in Englewood, Colorado, Foote developed as a junior player in Canada, playing major junior hockey with the Kelowna Rockets. He also represented Canada at the international junior level.

NHL career

Drafted by the Tampa Bay Lightning in 2017, Foote played NHL games for Tampa Bay, the Nashville Predators, and the New Jersey Devils. He was part of the Lightning's 2021 Stanley Cup championship team.
