The Winnipeg Jets are a professional ice hockey team in Winnipeg, Manitoba. They joined the NHL in 2011 after relocating from Atlanta and have not won a Stanley Cup.

History

The current Winnipeg Jets franchise began when the Atlanta Thrashers moved to Winnipeg in 2011 and adopted the Jets name. Winnipeg previously had another Jets franchise that played in the WHA and NHL from 1972 to 1996, winning three WHA Avco World Trophies but no Stanley Cups.

The Jets are owned by True North Sports & Entertainment and play their home games at Canada Life Centre in Winnipeg. They are a member of the NHL's Central Division in the Western Conference.

Achievements

The current Winnipeg Jets have not won a Stanley Cup. Their most notable achievement is winning the Presidents' Trophy in the 2024–25 season as the NHL's top regular-season team.
