Early life

Born on February 1, 1968, Lisa Marie Presley grew up in the public eye as the daughter of one of the most famous entertainers in the world. She spent much of her childhood at Graceland and later inherited control of the Presley estate.

Music career

Presley worked as a singer-songwriter and released one studio album under her own name. Her music career was separate from, but often viewed in relation to, her family legacy. She toured briefly but did not achieve the same level of fame as her father.

Personal life and death

She was married four times: to Danny Keough, Michael Jackson, Nicolas Cage, and Michael Lockwood. She had four children: Riley Keough, Benjamin Keough, and twins Harper and Finley Lockwood. Her son Benjamin died by suicide in 2020. Lisa Marie Presley died on January 12, 2023, from a small bowel obstruction caused by scar tissue from prior bariatric surgery. She was buried at Graceland.
