Early life and modelling career

Born in Sweden in 1961, Andersson-Dubin first gained public attention as a model and beauty pageant winner. She was crowned Miss Sweden in 1980.

Medical career and philanthropy

After moving to the United States, she trained as an internal medicine specialist. A breast cancer survivor herself, she founded the Dubin Breast Center at Mount Sinai to advance care and research. She has served on the Mount Sinai Medical Center Board of Directors since 2014.
