Chandigarh is a city and union territory in northwestern India that serves as the shared capital of Punjab and Haryana.

Chandigarh is one of the earliest planned cities in post-independence India. Its master plan was prepared by Le Corbusier, building on earlier work by Maciej Nowicki and Albert Mayer.
